Change your IP location with IPVanish

Select a country in IPVanish and connect: streaming sites then see the VPN server’s IP location. That gives you control over where your connection appears to come from. Use the comparison above to choose a viewing plan, then set your connection location in the IPVanish app.

IPVANISH · AFFILIATE PARTNER

Change your IP location. Set up IPVanish.

Planning your next match or event? Use IPVanish to choose your connection location, alongside a currently valid broadcaster subscription. This archived guide does not confirm today’s viewing rights.

Choose a country in IPVanish, connect, then open your streaming app. The service sees the VPN server’s IP location instead of your usual one. That can help you access location-dependent services where your subscription and the provider’s rules allow it, while encrypting traffic between your device and the VPN server.

Affiliate disclosure: we may earn a commission if you buy through this link, at no extra cost to you. Check the current plan price and renewal terms before purchasing.
How to set up IPVanish for streaming
  1. Check your viewing option. Choose the broadcaster and plan for your event or title from the viewing options above.
  2. Install and sign in. Choose your IPVanish plan, then install the IPVanish app from your device’s app store and sign in. Our Android TV setup guide explains the steps for compatible TV boxes.
  3. Choose a location and connect. Select a server in the country you want to connect through. Wait until IPVanish confirms the connection.
  4. Open your streaming app. Sign in to the broadcaster separately and open the event or title. Your VPN subscription does not include a TV subscription, sports pass or pay-per-view purchase.

UK: watch Sky Sports F1 with NOW

For a streaming route in the UK, choose NOW Sports. Its F1 help page lists £14.99 for a 24-hour Day Membership or £34.99 for a Month Membership. Check the final checkout price and any offer terms before paying.

The Day and Month options include Sky Sports F1. The Sports Mobile Membership does not, so don’t buy that plan for this race. A 24-hour pass won’t cover the whole three-day weekend.

On the NOW app’s F1 page you can find additional streams as well as the main coverage. Existing NOW customers should check whether Sports is already included in their account.

  1. Sign in to NOW and open Membership.
  2. Add Sports Day or Month if you don’t already have it.
  3. Open Sky Sports F1 for the race, or choose a session from the F1 page in the NOW app.

US: use Apple TV, including on a television

Apple TV is the US home of every Grand Prix, practice session and qualifying session. Its current monthly price is US$14.99, with a seven-day trial advertised for eligible new subscribers. Check eligibility and renewal terms when signing up.

You can watch in the Apple TV app on supported Apple devices, smart TVs, streaming devices, consoles and Android devices, or use tv.apple.com in a browser. You don’t need to buy an Apple TV box simply to use the service.

Apple also lists full replays and highlights, useful if the morning start doesn’t suit you. Its F1 page says practice sessions are available without a subscription; that does not make every race free.

  1. Open the Apple TV app or tv.apple.com and sign in with your Apple Account.
  2. Check your Apple TV subscription, then open the F1 section and select the Spanish Grand Prix.

Canada: TSN and RDS, with TSN+ as a separate consideration

TSN and RDS carry the 2026 season in Canada, including practice and qualifying. RDS provides French-language coverage. Start with the TSN app or TSN.ca if you want the English-language viewing route.

Check that your chosen subscription includes the main TSN coverage. TSN+ supplies companion feeds such as onboard cameras and the driver tracker; don’t assume a companion-feed purchase is the same as the main broadcast.

We haven’t verified a current Canadian subscription price, so check the provider before paying. The broadcaster is confirmed; the price remains a checkout check.

  1. Open TSN.ca or the TSN app and check the subscription options for main TSN coverage.
  2. Sign in, then use the Formula 1 schedule to select the Spanish Grand Prix session.

Australia: Kayo plans and supported screens

Kayo carries every Formula 1 race, practice and qualifying session in Australia. Standard costs AU$29.99 a month; Premium costs AU$45.99 a month. These are the monthly options, not the separate annual commitment.

Premium is required for Kayo’s 4K coverage, together with a compatible device and at least 25Mbps broadband. If HD is enough, you don’t need to choose Premium solely to get access to the race.

Kayo’s supported-device list includes selected smart TVs and Android TVs, Apple TV, Google TV Streamer, Amazon Fire TV Stick, mobile devices and browsers. Check the precise model and software requirements before subscribing, particularly with an older TV.

  1. Check your device against Kayo’s official supported-device list.
  2. Choose the plan you want and sign in to the Kayo app or website.
  3. Find the Spanish Grand Prix and select the live session.

Travelling with a VPN: match the setup to the service

Use the IPVanish setup box above to install the VPN and choose a server location before opening a compatible streaming app. The broadcaster account is separate: paying for IPVanish does not include NOW, Apple TV, TSN or Kayo.

For this race, two service restrictions matter. NOW does not support taking a UK membership abroad, and its help pages say to disconnect a VPN for playback. Kayo requires viewers to be in Australia and also says to disable a VPN.

Check the local viewing option when you travel. We haven’t tested IPVanish access to these race streams, so changing your server location should not be treated as a guarantee that a particular app will play.

Before the start, check your screen and subscription

Set up the app before the session you want to watch. Confirm that you can sign in, that the correct sports package is active, and that the session appears in the provider’s schedule. The table above shows session starts; broadcasters may begin their programmes earlier.

If you only want to follow the action rather than watch video, Formula 1 also provides live timing on F1.com and in the F1 app throughout the weekend. Check the official race hub again for any late timetable changes.
