What changing your VPN location does
An IPVanish connection sends your internet traffic through a server in the country you select. Websites see that server’s public IP address. You can change the location you present online and encrypt traffic between your device and the VPN server.
Your streaming account and the service
Streaming availability also depends on your subscription, the service’s country rules and its broadcast rights. Providers can identify and block VPN connections. A location change does not guarantee a particular catalogue, subscription purchase or playback.

Getting your device connected
Install IPVanish on a supported device, sign in and select your server country. Once connected, open your streaming app and sign in to the account you intend to use. If the provider reports a VPN error, consult its support instructions; it may require disconnecting the VPN. For devices without a VPN app, check the VPN provider’s router and device documentation.
